My name is Maarten van Gompel, or Proycon, as my nickname is on the internet. I am a Dutch guy and I live with my boyfriend in the city of Eindhoven, in the south of the Netherlands. The website you are viewing now is my personal homepage, where you can read about me and my various interests. I also keep a blog here.
I have a wide variety of interests: I really love languages and I try to learn and speak as many as I can. Furthermore I am a proud Linux-user and I'm really into programming, language technology, and webdesign. Buddhism is also important in my life, as a source of inspiration and tranquility. I also like philosophy in general. And like everybody else, I of course also enjoy music and I myself play the piano.
